What does the EFMB test consist of?
Per MEDCoE PAM 350-10, earning the EFMB requires passing a 60-question digital written test, the Expert Physical Fitness Assessment, day and night land navigation, three hands-on testing lanes (TCCC, evacuation, and warrior skills), a 12-mile forced march in three hours or less, and a final weapons event. Only the written test can be retested, and only once.
How many questions are on the EFMB written test?
60 multiple-choice questions with a 90-minute time limit, drawn from the Joint Trauma System Clinical Practice Guidelines listed at Table 5-1 of MEDCoE PAM 350-10. Candidates who fail get one retest, taken on a different day.
