Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Earnit Learning (earnitlearning.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run a study platform: an email to sign in, your practice activity to track progress, what you send our AI coach, and product analytics to improve the Service. We do not sell your data.
1. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and sign-in records, if you create an account. If you sign in with Google, Google also shares your name and profile picture with us.
- Study activity: questions answered, scores, and progress, linked to your account when signed in or to an anonymous browser identifier when not.
- What you send the AI: questions you ask the coach, answers you type or speak in lane drills, and documents you upload, such as a board MOI or a vignette. We keep coach conversations and graded drill results. We do not keep uploaded files, only the details the AI reads from them. If you speak an answer, your browser turns it into text; some browsers, such as Chrome, send the audio to their maker to do this. Only the text reaches us.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, feature usage, browser and device type, IP address and approximate location, and error reports, collected through product analytics. This includes session replays: recordings of how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, and what is on screen) that we watch to find confusing parts of the site. Text you type into form fields is hidden in replays.
2. How we use it
To provide and secure the Service, save your progress, understand which features help people study so we can improve them, fix errors, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
3. Cookies and storage on your device
We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, to remember anonymous practice progress, and for analytics. The site also keeps some things on your device: answers given while offline until they reach your account, unfinished tests and drills, and any question sets you choose to download. You can clear or block these in your browser; sign-in and saved progress will not work without them.
4. Service providers
We share data only with the companies that run the Service, and each receives only what it needs:
- Vercel: hosts the site and counts page views.
- Supabase: sign-in and our database.
- Anthropic: the AI behind the coach, lane drill grading, and reading uploaded documents. It receives what you send the AI and the question you are working on. We do not send it your name or email address, but an uploaded document is sent as it is.
- Braintrust: keeps a record of each AI request and reply so we can check the AI’s accuracy. These records are not linked to your account.
- PostHog: product analytics, session replays, and error reports. When you are signed in, these are linked to your account and email address.
- Resend: sends our emails, such as the welcome email. It receives your email address.
- Google: “Continue with Google” sign-in, and our support mailbox, which receives any email you send us.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep account and progress data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. That permanently removes your account and everything linked to it in our database: practice progress, study plans, details read from uploaded documents, and drill results. Two things are kept but no longer linked to you: coach conversations, which we use to check the coach’s accuracy, and any reports you made about a question. Session replays are deleted after 30 days. Analytics and email records held by PostHog and Resend are not removed automatically; email support@earnitlearning.com and we will delete them.
To request a copy of your data or a correction, email support@earnitlearning.com from your account address, and we will act on it within a reasonable time.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EEA/UK and certain U.S. states), you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Use the Account page to delete your account, or the contact above for anything else.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted transport, access controls, row-level security on user data). No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not upload documents marked CUI, FOUO, or classified. The MOI reader refuses documents it recognizes as marked, but it cannot catch everything.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes
We will update this policy as the Service evolves (for example, when billing goes live) and reflect changes in the “Last updated” date above.
